This family owned business was established as a pharmacy in 1964 in Cappoquin, County Waterford, Ireland. As this was and is a very prosperous farming area we combined our pharmacy business with a veterinary medicine range. Veterinary medicine was just moving out of the formulated in the pharmacy era to a decent variety of proprietary products. We decided to stock the brands that combined the most effective formulations with cost efficiency, this is a policy that we have persisted with. During this almost 40 years we have established excellent relationships with our customers. Many of our original customers and their families shop with us regularly. We have broadened our customer base over the years and now supply customers on an almost country wide basis. This has come about mainly through our association with the major farmer purchasing groups throughout the country. We have forged equally close relationships with the major veterinary supply companies in Ireland and use the expertise of their consultant vets to help our customers get the maximum benefit from their products.
